Looking for retirement security? Government spending has been out of control for decades and Congress needs to raise revenue. So, they passed The SECURE (Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement) Act in December 2019. It may secure the government’s future; but, one provision may make your heir’s retirement a little less secure.

Here are some key points:

The stretch-IRA has been eliminated and replaced with a 10-year mandatory payout for beneficiaries, except for certain ‘Eligible Designated Beneficiaries” (effective for 2020). This could provide a financial ‘time-bomb’ for the children of baby-boomers who stand to inherit during their prime earning years – what will tax brackets look like then? How will this affect their retirement security?

How will the new post IRA rules would work? Which IRAs will be most affected?

My 25-minute webinar will guide you through the key issues of The SECURE Act with what you need to know.  Hope you find it helpful.   You can register to attend here.
